I saw online that a number of people are using few profiles that were included within the installation, instead of creating a new one. I did that, but that new profile always pops up an error when trying to get the VIN of the car (even though, "ExpertMode" and some other profiles communicate with the car without any problem (and I googled that error msg, didnt get anything ).
Where I got stuck was creating another profile using "ExpertMode". I have been looking, but didnt really find the answer to my questions. However, I was not able to follow some of the steps, therefore I abandoned the procedure and thought should do some more research. and it was communicating fine with the car (E60). I got the cable, and 32 bit windows 7, finally installed the software.
